Padel is perfect for beginners because the court, the rules, and the ball are easy to learn. You’ll quickly get into exciting rallies, use the walls for cool plays, and often play doubles—perfect for running around and having fun together. With every practice session, you’ll quickly notice improvements in your reaction time, sense of angle, and team strategy. Footwear: Non-slip padel/indoor shoes with good lateral support; depending on the surface, they should be suitable for artificial turf or hard courts

You may wear indoor shoes or regular sneakers. Neat, athletic clothing is perfectly adequate. This is just a suggestion. But please always keep in mind that padel tennis is also a sport for gentlemen and ladies.

The duration of a padel match depends on the format:

Doubles (2 vs. 2) or singles: Standard match to 4 points, won 4–0, 4–1, 4–2, or 4–3; often to 6 or 8 points, depending on tournament or club rules.
Typical recreational matches last about 15–30 minutes per game.
In tournaments, matches can last longer, depending on the set structure (e.g., best-of-3 sets) and the pace of play.
A rough conservative estimate: 15–25 minutes per game in normal recreational matches.

Of course, padel tennis is most fun when the weather is nice.

The following conditions are suitable for outdoor padel:

Dry, mild to warm weather: Ideal for playing well.
Temperatures around 15–25°C (slightly cool evenings, etc.) are pleasant.
Sun protection is recommended: sunscreen, a hat, and shade if needed.
Wind: A light breeze is fine, but strong winds can interfere with play.
